Rep. Harris, in conjunction with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Arlington Heights Memorial Library, is offering free diabetes screenings on Friday, November 14th, at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The screenings will be provided in the Hendrickson Room on the second floor of the library.

November 14th is National Diabetes Day, and Rep. Harris encourages everyone to take advantage of this free screening. Diabetes is a serious problem, and if it is detected early corrective action can be taken to avoid serious complications. Again, there is no charge for the screening, and it is not necessary to fast prior to taking the test.
